WHAT SHOULD YOU DO ?

The points that you should pay attention to during this process consist of two parts: as before and after the procedure.

SAY TO YOUR DOCTOR

If you have any chronic illnesses, previous surgeries, medication or different allergies, and medications you use regularly, inform your doctor before the operation.If you are using aspirin-derived blood thinning medication, stop using these medications 3 days before the operation.

DON'T USE

Do not consume caffeinated beverages, cigarettes, alcohol, drugs 1 day before the operation.

COMFORTABLE WEAR

Prefer comfortable and loose clothes as your movements will be limited during the process.

BODY CLEANING

Do your body cleaning before coming to the hospital where the procedure will be performed. Wash your hair and do not apply any chemical products.

How Will The Post-Operation Process Proceed?

HEADBAND

After your hair transplantation is finished, the collection area is bandaged, the area where the transplantation is made is left open. A tape is bandaged to forehead to prevent swelling in your eyes and face. You should not remove this tape for 1 day.

ATTENTION

Because of the effect of local anesthetic drugs used, you may experience difficulty for a while to adjust the distance between your head and the items around you. This is normal. Therefore, especially in the first hours, be careful to protect your head from bumps, scrapes, etc.

PILLOW AND SLEEP

You can use the neck pillow given to you after the operation so that your hair does not rub against the pillow or bed while sleeping at night. Be sure to sleep on your back, especially for the first week.

ICE PACK

On the first day, you may feel a slight edema and a slight pain. This is normal. In case of edema, it will be good to apply ice on your forehead and temples. If you feel pain, you can use the pain medication given to you after the operation.

BANDAGE

The day after the operation is the day of removal and control of the bandage in the nape area. This process will be carried out by your transplantation team in the hospital.

HAIR WASHING

Third day is the first washing day. After the operation, light scabbing begins to occur in the planting and collecting area. These scabs will decrease and disappear with washing. Your first wash is carried out by specialists in the hospital. Washing method is explained to you in detail and shown in the application. Washing continues for the next 1 week. After you learn the washing procedure, you can do your washing once a day for 1 week with the shampoo and lotion provided to you. Washing continues for the next 1 week. CREAM CARE

From day 3, you may feel itching and light burning in your nape area. Both are normal processes. Itching sensation is a symptom of healing. When itching sensation comes, take care not to touch your hair or scratch it. When you feel burning in your nape area, you can apply the provide lotion to the area 1-2 times a day and wait for it to be absorbed. This is an effective and relaxing solution for burning.

TENTH DAY

Day 10 is the last washing day. After the last wash, the scabs on your hair fall out completely. Only slight redness can be seen for a while. Apart from this, your hair will return to its normal appearance. After the last wash, you can return to your normal life.

The first 2 months is the hair loss period.

The transplanted hair starts grow from the third month.

The hair regrowth process is completed between 6-12 months.

FOR BETTER RESULTS:

In the 10-day period following your hair transplantation avoid doing heavy exercise, movements that require intense effort, and rain or sun.

Be careful not to smoke. Since smoking slows blood circulation, it negatively affects the nutrition of your hair follicles.

Do not enter the pool for the first 1 month. Chemicals in the pool can damage your hair follicles.

Do not shave your hair with a machine or a razor for the first 6 months. It is recommended to use scissors.
